Black Ink Mexico Amate Lace Marble Paper is a beautiful natural paper handmade by the Otomi artisans of Mexico using the same methods that Mesoamerican ancestors used 3000 years ago. This acid-free paper was made by boiling and pounding bark from multiple trees including the amate “wild fig” and mulberry trees. Due to the use of natural bark and the handmade process, each sheet is unique and will vary in shade, color, weight and pattern. Mexico Lace Paper is a wonderful choice for fine art uses including acrylic or gouache paintings, ink and pastel drawings, stamping, block-printing, bookmaking/bookbinding and paper crafts.

Minimum Order – In order to prevent damage during transit each Black Ink Paper order must contain at least 10 sheets of paper in order to fill the reinforced box. Feel free to mix and match colors to meet this requirement.
